On Thursday 10 July, the second meeting of the Steering Committee for the Global Anti-Corruption Strategy took place as part of GRECO's fifth evaluation cycle, chaired by Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Acting Minister of State and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

During this second meeting, the Committee members continued their review of the measures to be implemented in response to the recommendations made by GRECO in its evaluation report on Monaco, adopted on 21 June 2024.

At the request of the GRECO Secretariat, the review of Monaco's compliance report is due to take place during the 104th plenary meeting, scheduled for November 2026.

Consequently, the initial deadline for the Monegasque authorities to submit their progress report, set for 31 December 2025, has been extended until 31 May 2026.

Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï reaffirmed the determination, commitment and ongoing involvement of the relevant authorities, emphasising the importance of continuing the efforts undertaken by the Principality to further improve its anti-corruption measures, which are a national priority as per the guidelines set out by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince.
