Leisure and Business Tourism
Practical measures to ensure that Monaco remains a dream destination
Monaco is more than a destination, it is a unique attraction hub. It is not surprising, therefore, that the Prince's Government, through the roadmap set out by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, attaches particular importance to leisure and business tourism in terms of developing the Principality's attractiveness.
The Tourist and Convention Authority coordinates the Government’s action for tourism. It has many goals and aims, directly or indirectly, at supporting Monaco's growth.
Whilst maintaining the target of remaining the leading destination worldwide for luxury tourism, the Principality is also giving itself the means to attract a new clientele.
For this purpose, it is developing communication initiatives around the world:
- On the one hand, by setting up a global network of offices to promote its many assets
- On the other, through a website, updated in real time, that provides news of the countless events that take place in the Principality throughout the year
The Tourist and Convention Authority has also created the Monaco Cruise Bureau, aimed at optimising a flourishing cruise market, which adds to the existing Monaco Convention Bureau that is very active on the conference market.
To ensure success in all its projects and further enhance the excellent welcome the Principality has to offer, the Tourist and Convention Authority works in close cooperation with all players in tourism as well as economic and cultural entities in Monaco, particularly during trips abroad. These are excellent occasions to export Monaco's know-how in terms of tourism, business, culture, the arts and event organisation.
Through the Tourist and Convention Authority, the Government provides development tools for all stakeholders in tourism in the Principality and on the five continents in order that Monaco can continue to amaze and remain the dream destination that it always has been.
