Summer camps 2017

In collaboration with the Princess Stéphanie Youth Centre, the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services (DASO) are offering stays at summer camp for children aged between 8 and 15 in the Principality. The camps will take place during summer 2017 in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence for 8–12 years old, and in Aude for 13–15 years old (places are limited):

  • From Sunday 2 July to Saturday 15 July
  • From Sunday 16 July to Saturday 29 July
  • From Sunday 30 July to Saturday 12 August

 

For the 8–12 years old: Outdoor activities such as ropes course, a night in the trees, mountain biking, white water activities, wide games and craft activities...
Stays will take place at the Gite des Robines in the commune of Tartonne, between Saint-André les-Alpes and Digne.A marquee will be hired, and following some circus lessons, a performance will be presented on the last night of each camp for tourists and local residents. Parents are cordially invited to attend.
The cost of the camp is €650.

For the 13–15 years old: kite-surfing, kayaking and sand-yachting lessons, outdoor and cultural activities, and tours of the region.
Participants will be camping in the Gruissan region.
The cost of the camp is €690.

Registration packs are available from the Department of Social Welfare and Social Services (Direction de l’Action et de l’Aide Sociales, 23 Avenue Albert II – Third floor above the mall “Carrefour”/(+377) 98 98 88 73) from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm.
Or from the Princess Stéphanie Youth Centre (45 avenue des Papalins / (+377) 93 50 75 05) from 3 pm to 7 pm.

Les inscriptions seront reçues au Centre de la Jeunesse Princesse Stéphanie de 15h à 19h, du mardi 4 avril au mercredi 31 mai prochain, dans la limite des places disponibles.

Registrations will be accepted at the Princess Stéphanie Youth Centre between 3 pm and 7 pm from Tuesday 04 April to Wednesday 31 May 2017 (subject to availability).

The Department of Social Welfare and Social Services (DASO) may be able to help with part of the cost of the camp on a means-tested basis. Applications must be submitted by 31 May 2017 at the latest. The application form should be attached to the registration pack and accompanied by the following supporting documents:

  • A photocopy of both parents' salary statement for December 2016 (if the gross annual total is not shown, a declaration of salary specifying the total must be provided)
  • For members of the CCSS – CAMTI – a photocopy of the social fund registration card
  • A photocopy of the parents and child's ID
  • A child's school enrolment certificate
