Discover the Charter for the use of terraces

In order to ensure that these convivial spaces remain consistent with, on the one hand, the needs of business owners in terms of occupying public space and commercial appeal and, on the other hand, the imperatives involved in ensuring best use of urban space, public safety and respect for the rights of all, the Government established a Charter for the Use of Terraces in the Principality.

The Principality of Monaco Charter for the use of terraces and commercial furniture comprises six documents, including a general charter and individual charters for each of the following five districts: Port Hercule and kiosks, Fontvieille, Monaco-Ville, Portier and Spélugues, Allée Lazare Sauvaigo and Promenade Honoré II.
