Following their initial visit back in March, a delegation from the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region (China) returned to the Principality on 28 April 2025 to attend the launch of the Monaco Clean Fusion Forum, held at the Yacht Club de Monaco with the support of the Prince Albert II Foundation.

Monaco's Ambassador to China, H.E. Ms Marie-Pascale Boisson, took this opportunity to hold a bilateral meeting between the Chinese delegation and several representatives of Monegasque entities from the Principality's economic, technological and scientific sectors.

The attendees discussed their work, expertise and shared commitments. The discussions shed light on Monaco's expertise in finding innovative solutions and emerging technologies that are particularly likely to boost the ecological transition in various cutting-edge sectors, such as energy production and storage and biomedical research focused on environmental health.

The meeting was attended by Mr Guillaume Rose, Chief Executive Officer of the Monaco Economic Board, Ms Sandrine Sauval, Director of MonacoTech, Ms Delphine Frappier, Secretary General of Monaco Scientific Centre, Mr Eric Villalong, President of the Chamber of Renewable Energies and Ecology of Monaco, Mr Mirco Albisetti, President of Aton Green Monaco.

The Macao Government delegation, led by the Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Tai Kin Ip, included Dr Che Weng Keon, Chairman of the Science and Technology Development Fund Committee, and Mr Iong Nin Fai, Head of the Macao Economic and Technological Development Bureau.
