Prince’s Government and Monaco City Hall renew permission for shop and restaurant terraces to occupy public streets for free until 30 September 2022
As part of the economic recovery plan, the Prince’s Government and Monaco City Hall have decided to renew permission for shop and restaurant terraces to occupy public streets for free from April to September 2022.
Although spring saw an upswing in economic activity and the summer season looks set to be positive, the Government and the Commune are keen to continue to support traders and restaurateurs in the Principality over the coming months.
As it did from January to March 2022, Monaco City Hall will therefore grant a 50% discount on the fee for occupying public streets and the State will cover the remaining 50%. Businesses do not need to take any action in order to receive this support and will be kept informed by the municipal departments.
