Death of His Excellency Mr Didier GUILLAUME, Minister of State

It is with profound sadness that we learned of the death earlier today of H.E. Mr Didier GUILLAUME, Minister of State. The members and staff of the Government offer their sincere condolences to his wife and loved ones.

We shall all remember his exceptional professional abilities, his passionate political commitment to the betterment of women and men, and his talent for uniting and mobilising others. In addition to being a statesman in the service of the Sovereign Prince, his tremendous human qualities quickly made him a popular figure in Monaco.

H.E. Mr Didier Guillaume brought to the Principality all the experience gained from a prestigious career with the French State. He went about his task with determination, implementing the policies chosen by H.S.H. Prince Albert II in the interests of our country. The Government will look to continue in the same way.
