COVID-19: one new positive case and One Discharge from Hospital on Wednesday 26 August 2020

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, daily updates now report coronavirus cases among residents only.

One new positive case of COVID-19 was recorded today.

This brings the Principality’s total number of coronavirus cases to 122.

One of the people hospitalised at the CHPG has been discharged this evening. A total of three people, including one resident, are being treated in hospital. The resident is in intensive care.

Following one recovery today, the total number of people who have recovered is 85.

Today, 32 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.
