Carladès (earldom of) - Carlat
By letters patent of February 1643, the viscounty of Carlat, united with neighboring land was erected into the County of Carladès by Louis XIII, and attributed to Honoré II under the Treaty of Peronne which puts Monaco under France's protection.
The county consisted, besides indirectly attached lordships, of the castellanies of Carlat, Vic, Muret, Caylus, Boisset, Cromières and Mur-de-Barrez.
