Pierre-André Chiappori met with Keisuke Shimoyamada, the 2025 World President of the Junior Chamber International
For the 110th anniversary of the Junior Chamber International (JCI), Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy met in his office with Keisuke Shimoyamada, World President of the JCI for 2025.
The meeting was attended by leaders of the Junior Economic Chamber of Monaco (JCEM), a particularly dynamic local branch of this international network of committed young leaders.
The JCEM actively contributes to projects led by the JCI in four major areas of interest:
- entrepreneurship and economic development
- personal development
- international cooperation
- positive impact on communities
With over 150,000 members in 120 countries, JCI works with major institutions such as the UN and the International Chamber of Commerce. It leads major initiatives such as the International Human Duties Initiative (internationalhumanduties.com ), the “JCI in Business” network, the “Creative Young Entrepreneur” competition (creative-young-entrepreneur.com ) – a Monegasque initiative – as well as training programmes, four regional conferences and a World Congress that brings together more than 15,000 participants.
For Pierre-André Chiappori, the meeting was an opportunity to highlight the importance of youth entrepreneurship, which represents more than just an opportunity: it is a vital source of energy shaping the future of the Principality. Networking and economic trade are more essential than ever as a source of dialogue between nations. Through the JCI network and committed national Junior Chambers, we do business together and learn from each other.
