Recently, Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, and Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, accompanied by representatives of the Lenval Foundation and the Department of Health Affairs, visited the construction site of the future Franco-Monegasque child and adolescent psychiatric day centre.

This establishment, situated in Beausoleil, will have a capacity of 65 people (30 care staff and 35 children/adolescents), over a total surface area of 640 m2.  It will shortly make it possible for 17 pupils who attend school in Monaco to be monitored and supervised by specialist staff on a dedicated site near the Principality.

To meet the specifications of the programme, the project required a complete renovation of the existing premises, as well as the reinforcement of the building's structure.   The facades were also altered, giving a look that is both contemporary and integrated with the surrounding urban context.

The work is being carried out by the Principality of Monaco and is currently being completed.  The Centre will welcome students from the start of the school year in September 2022.
