The latest meeting of the State Housing Commission
The State Housing Commission met on 27 February 2025 at the Ministry of State under the chairmanship of Mr Pierre-André Chiappori, Minister of Finance and Economy.
Following a call for applications open from 16 September 2023 to 11 October 2024, the Commission has allocated 194 homes.
Having allocated the apartments in Block C of the Héméra Residence last year, the apartments in Block B have now been allocated, along with several apartments, made available following renovations.
As a result of continued Government efforts spurred by H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, the Commission strives to meet the housing needs of Monegasques with consistent success.
Since the official launch of the National Housing Plan in 2019, 1,173 properties have been allocated to Monegasque households.
The Prince's Government remains fully committed to this vital policy through continued investment and providing the necessary resources to offer new housing options to Monegasques for years to come.
Accordingly, the Prince's Government is ramping up initiatives to improve the quality of life of state residents. In addition to constructing new buildings and renovating existing apartments, the standards of state-owned apartments are regularly updated, with growing needs and feedback taken into consideration.
Furthermore, to best support residents, housing exchanges are being facilitated with a recently published practical guide now available.
This document provides a range of information on occupying and maintaining state-owned housing. It can be viewed and downloaded via the following link:
