Route du Goût sets out stall by the sea
Now in its third year in Monaco, the Route du Goût organic festival is setting up an organic vegetable garden and floating village on Quai Antoine I from 12 to 14 October, where chefs, artisans, producers and winegrowers will present their products.
Organised by Bio Chef Global Spirit and led by Paolo Sari, the Monte-Carlo Beach’s Michelin-starred organic chef, this major annual event aims to raise public awareness of organic, local and seasonal produce which is eco-friendly.
The festival will also feature:
- A children’s cooking competition: 10 children aged 8 to 12 from Monaco schools will help 10 of the Principality’s chefs to prepare an exceptional organic dinner
- An eco-innovations competition
- “Market of flavours”: an exceptional organic dinner at the Monte-Carlo Beach
- A culinary demonstration presented by 10 Michelin-starred chefs on board Riva yachts
- “Chefs Love the Planet”: an organic gala at Villa La Vigie
- Guided tours of the wine cellar at the Hotel de Paris
- Institutional partners: the Prince Albert II Foundation, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, Monte-Carlo Country Club, Monaco Boat Service and Tourist and Convention Authority
- A charitable project: the proceeds of the festival will go towards equipping the Moné and Paolo Sari Organic Hotel and Culinary Institute training centre in Madagascar
