COVID-19: three new positive cases and one recovery

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this area, daily updates will now report coronavirus cases among residents only.

Three new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Thursday 27 August 2020.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 125.

Three people, including one resident, are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital. The resident is in intensive care.

One recovery has been reported today, therefore the total number of people who have recovered is 86.

This Thursday evening, 35 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with mild symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.
