COVID-19: Two new positive cases and five recoveries on Thirsday 8 October

Two new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded this Thirsday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 229.

This evening, three patients, all residents, are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital. There are no longer any patients in intensive care.

Four further recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 207.

This Thirsday evening, 18 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to people with mild symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.
