COVID-19: Sixteen New Positive Cases and 13 Recoveries on Thursday 24 December

Sixteen new positive cases of COVID-19 were identified on Thursday.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 783 people affected by the Coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, following two discharges from hospital, nine people are being treated at the CHPG:  nine patients, four of whom are residents, are hospitalised.  This evening, there are no longer any patients in intensive care.

Today, there are 13 further recoveries to be noted.  The total number of people who have recovered thus amounts to 659.

This Thursday evening, 73 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.

In line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, these daily health assessment figures report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.
