COVID-19: Five New Positive Cases and Five Recoveries on Friday 18 September

From now on, in line with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this regard, the daily health assessment figures will report only on resident persons affected by the Coronavirus.

Five new positive cases of Covid-19 were identified on Friday.

This therefore brings the overall health figures for the Principality to 191 people affected by the Coronavirus.

This evening, a total of eight patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital:  one non-resident patient is in intensive care, and seven patients are hospitalised.  Three of them are residents.

There are five recoveries to be noted.  The total number of people who have now recovered therefore amounts to 152.

This Friday evening, 30 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-up Centre, which provides medical support to people with mild symptoms, who are invited to self-isolate at home.
