COVID-19: 4 new positive cases and 20 recoveries on Sunday 10 January

Four new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Sunday 10 January.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases since the beginning of the health crisis to 1,057.

This evening, 27 patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital, nine of whom, including six residents, are in intensive care. Twelve of the other 18 patients in hospital are also residents.

Twenty further recoveries have been reported today, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 850.

This Sunday evening, 117 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
