Fondation François-Xavier Mora signs agreement with Monaco Scientific Centre

This morning, the Fondation François-Xavier Mora confirmed its support for Monaco Scientific Centre by signing an agreement.

The aim of the foundation’s sponsorship is to fund translational research programmes that could produce benefits for patients.

This is research that falls part way between basic research, through which an understanding of the mechanisms responsible for the development of cancer is reached, and clinical research, which seeks to evaluate the effectiveness and tolerance of new treatments for patients.

Having stood alongside Monaco Scientific Centre for more than six years, the Fondation François-Xavier Mora is guaranteeing financial support for the Centre’s Medical Biology Department so that Dr Gilles Pagès’ teams can continue to carry out important research projects.
