Speech by Serge Telle, Minister of State of the Principality of Monaco, at the 71st UNGA
On Thursday, the Minister of State took part in the general debate of the 71st United Nations General Assembly, which opened this week in New York.
In his speech, Serge Telle chose to speak about the realities of the world and of international relations, emphasising the need to "achieve a change of civilisation" because "[...] from now on, we must admit that it is through our ability to protect Nature and accept its rules that we will be able to achieve and build a future for Humanity."
The Minister of State also stressed the need to educate the younger generations in order to create a culture of sustainable development while respecting equality between men and women.
