The construction of ‘La Luciole’ - a new government building
As part of the National Housing Plan for Monegasques, and as announced to the National Council during the public budget sessions, the Prince's Government has confirmed the construction of a new public building on the site of the 'Villa Luciole' located at 5 Rue Louis Auréglia.
Following the publication in the Journal de Monaco on 13 September 2024 of a call for tenders to enter into a property development contract, the consortium ‘S.A.M. MICHEL PASTOR GROUP (M.P.G) / S.A.M. PROBAT’ was selected as the successful bidder to carry out this project.
The project will see the construction of a 10-storey building comprising 27 apartments, including one four-bedroom apartment and 26 one-bedroom apartments, along with a private car park.
The homes are scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2028, following construction work carried out in accordance with the highest environmental and architectural standards, with the government committed to doing everything possible to minimise disruption.
In order to support the smooth integration of the project into its environment and ensure clear and regular communication throughout the works, the Government has also called for regular public consultation meetings to be held with local residents.
