The Minister of State receives the Chairperson of the Council on the Status of Women for International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, the Minister of State held a luncheon with Ms Louise Cordeau, Chairperson of the Council on the Status of Women of Quebec and guest of honour of the Women’s Rights Committee.

His Excellency Pierre Dartout recalled that Quebec had long been at the forefront of gender equality and that the social model promoted in Quebecois society was a source of inspiration for the world.

He highlighted that women’s rights was also a key issue in the Principality.

He added that he was pleased to see the dynamic efforts of the non-profit sector, government departments and Monegasque institutions, mobilised together in support of women to celebrate, on 8 March 2024, Monaco’s commitment to women’s rights.
