Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, accompanied by professionals and representatives of healthcare establishments in the Principality, met with medical and pharmacy students with ties to Monaco on Tuesday 24 September in order to raise awareness about medical specialities that are or will be in demand in Monaco in the coming years.

The objective is to anticipate the needs of health professionals, better understand how students decide where to practise and in what field, for example, and to strengthen the attractiveness of medical professions in Monaco.

In his speech, Christophe Robino stressed that “young people are the driving force of tomorrow. It is a pleasure to meet these students and discuss not only hospital career opportunities with them but also the possibility of setting up practices in the city to ensure local health care availability that meets residents’ needs. This will allow the hospital to focus on its role and on highly specialised patient care. As the Minister of Health, I am committed to encouraging and supporting the students in their future careers”.
