Covid-19: 43 new positive cases and 52 cured this Sunday 2 January

Forty-three new positive cases of Covid-19 were revealed this Sunday 2 January.

The health balance sheet of the Principality thus amounts to 5253 people affected by the coronavirus since the beginning of the health crisis.

This evening, 39 people are being treated at the CHPG: 33 people, including 15 residents, are hospitalized. Six other patients, including one resident, are being treated in intensive care.

There were 52 additional recoveries. The total number of people cured amounts to 4742.

As of Sunday evening, 369 people are being monitored by the Home Monitoring Centre, which provides medical support to patients with medically support patients with few symptoms who are advised to stay at home.

In order to comply with the practices adopted by the World Health Organisation and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily report only mentions the resident persons affected by the coronavirus.
