COVID-19: fourteen new positive cases and nine recoveries on Friday 23 October

Fourteen new positive cases of COVID-19 were recorded on Friday.

This brings the Principality’s total coronavirus cases to 295.

This evening, eight patients are being treated at Princess Grace Hospital, five of whom, including two residents, are in intensive care. Two of the other three patients in hospital are also residents.
Nine recoveries have been reported, bringing the total number of people who have so far recovered to 241.

This Friday evening, 46 people are being monitored by the Home Patient Follow-Up Centre, which offers medical support to those with minor symptoms who are asked to self-isolate at home.

In accordance with the practices adopted by the World Health Organization and neighbouring countries in this area, this daily update reports coronavirus cases among residents only.
