Boulevard du Larvotto: alternating traffic scheme during school holidays

Taking advantage of the February school holidays, during which traffic is less busy, work is to be undertaken on the Dorsale spine road – Boulevard du Larvotto, requiring the introduction of an alternating traffic scheme.

The work will involve surveys in preparation for the Larvotto Supérieur property development and continuation of the roll-out of the ocean thermal energy loop network.

The surveys will be carried out between 7.30 am and 7 pm from 13 to 17 February in two locations: first close to the roundabout between Boulevard du Larvotto and Avenue de Grande-Bretagne, and second at the exit of the IM2S Tunnel, travelling from Monaco to Nice.

Manual traffic controls will be in effect at the two locations during rush hours to facilitate vehicle traffic. Users are nonetheless advised to make use of alternative routes such as Avenue Princesse Grace.

The Larvotto Supérieur state property development project is part of the National Housing Plan for Monegasques launched by the Prince’s Government in 2019. It involves the construction of a residential building with 31 homes on the plot of land located between 17 and 21 Boulevard du Larvotto.
