The Ambassador of Monaco to Spain visits Palma de Mallorca
The Ambassador of Monaco to Spain, H.E. Ms Catherine Fautrier Rousseau, paid a visit to Palma de Mallorca (Balearic Islands) on Friday 2 May.
During this visit, organised by Ms Laura Calvo Borrego, Consul of Monaco for the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera), the Ambassador was welcomed by Ms Margalida Prohens Rigo, President of the Government of the Balearic Islands. This meeting provided an opportunity to discuss possible areas of cooperation between Monaco and the island of Majorca, particularly in the fields of environmental protection, tourism, port activities and yachting. The visit concluded with a meeting with the Mayor of Palma, Mr Jaime Martinez Llabres, to discuss the possibility of holding an exhibition in 2026 to mark the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Monaco and Spain. The Ambassador also met with Ms Calvo Borrego's team at the Consulate of Monaco in Palma ahead of these meetings.
