New meeting of Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption on 23 March 2023

The Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption held another meeting on 23 March 2023, chaired by His Excellency the Minister of State.

The purpose of the meeting was to finalise the national action plan for tackling money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.

This plan includes numerous specific and operational measures designed to significantly strengthen existing action to counter threats associated with financial crime.

There were also constructive discussions on improving the mechanism for freezing funds and economic resources.

The Principality of Monaco reaffirms its full commitment to implementing the recommendations of the Moneyval Report, with support from all public authorities and those working in the private sector.
