Monaco Cyber Security Agency awards IT System Security Auditor (PASSI) qualifying certificate to KPMG Monaco
On Monday 6 January, Frédéric Fautrier, Director of the Monaco Cyber Security Agency, presented Sabina Debussy, Director of Advisory, and Clément Maillioux, Senior Manager – IT Advisory in Cybersecurity and Personal Data Protection, at KPMG Monaco with a certificate qualifying the company as an IT System Security Auditor (PASSI).
The goal of this mandatory qualification scheme, which entered into force on 16 August 2017 by ministerial decree, is to increase the rigour of audits conducted on information systems used by the government and critical infrastructure operators in the Principality.
The qualification guarantees the quality, impartiality and effectiveness of audit services, as well as trust in the auditor. It forms part of the Principality’s national digital security strategy, published in 2016.
The qualification relies on a frame of reference and processes overseen by an assessment centre approved by the French cybersecurity agency, the Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information (ANSSI).
KPMG Monaco is the third Monegasque organisation to obtain the qualification with local expertise. The firm is one of the most important accounting, auditing and consultancy firms in Monaco, having been established in the Principality for more than half a century. It strives to follow an independent, local and bespoke strategy based on service offerings tailored to developments in the Principality, our society and the needs of each of its clients.
