The Government continues to roll out its mobility policy
Today, the Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development, in the presence of the Chief of Staff to H.E. the Minister of State and his teams, met with representatives of the Monaco Union of Traders and Artisans (UCAM) and the Monegasque Hospitality Industry Association (AIHM), to discuss the Government’s mobility objectives and how to address the concerns of traders and professionals in terms of commercial attractiveness and employee needs.
Mention was thus made of the newly opened Salines car park, which offers an attractive parking solution at the entrance to the city and should make it possible to free up the parking spaces in the city centre for the benefit of shops and residents. The meeting was also an opportunity to recall the transport offer, including ClicBus, a transportation solution for people working in the hotel and restaurant sectors who have special schedules.
The UCAM and AIHM effectively relay information from the Government to their members and these meetings are highly informative for all those attending. The meeting for the second half of the year is already scheduled to review the initial results of recent new measures.
