First Advances in the Digital Cooperation Agreement between the Principality and the Nice - Côte d'Azur Metropolis

In June last year, the Innovative City trade fair was held in Nice.  At this fair, a Digital Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Principality and the Nice - Côte d'Azur Metropolis, in the presence of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince. 

This agreement forms the basis for cooperation in three main fields: 

• the establishment of a cross-border digital area; 
• exchanging information on experimentation and research into "smart city" solutions; 
• cooperation with regard to economic development and the attractiveness of the two digital territories. 

On Thursday 21 April 2016, the first meeting was held of the Steering Committee of the Agreement, which brought together elected representatives from the Nice - Côte d'Azur Metropolis and representatives of the Prince's Government. 

This meeting was an opportunity to announce the first results of this collaboration, as well as the practical projects envisaged to promote the development of innovative solutions and the creation of an ecosystem that is conducive to the economic development of Monegasque and metropolitan companies.
