The Prince's Government, the Monaco Real Estate Developers' Union, the Real Estate Chamber of Monaco and the Monaco Economic Board held a conference on Wednesday 13 June at Monaco's Vocational and Catering School (Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monaco) on the subject of "Real Estate, A Really Immobile Sector?  An Overview of the Technological Changes that Are Having an Impact on Real Estate in the World."

At a time when the Principality is engaged in the digital transition process, Frédéric Genta, Country Chief Digital Officer, has been charged with gaining the support of, informing and assisting as many people as possible with this change.  In this regard, he wished to address the theme of real estate in the face of technological advances, stating that, "Real estate is a key sector in Monaco and technology is developing very quickly.  Bridges must therefore be built between these two fields."

At his invitation, Robin Rivaton* spoke to professionals from this sector about the various innovations that are affecting real estate, whether in terms of the financing of real estate, construction, ownership or occupancy.

* Robin Rivaton is the author of several books including "L'immobilier demain" ("The Real Estate of the Future") and co-founder and President of the Real Estech association, the largest community of real estate start-ups in Europe.  He was Economic Advisor to Bruno Le Maire, the current French Minister of Economy, and, for two years, Director of the agency Paris Region Entreprises.  He is about to set up an investment fund specialising in real estate start-ups.  He makes regular appearances in the media, including Le Monde, Le Figaro, Les Echos, BFM TV, France Info, etc.
