2nd meeting of Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering
This morning, Minister of State Pierre Dartout chaired the second meeting of the Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction and Corruption.
The role of the Committee, which is made up of institutional stakeholders and representatives from the professions subject to anti-money laundering legislation, is to monitor implementation of the national strategy for 2022–2024.
During this morning’s meeting, participants had an opportunity to share their experience following the MONEYVAL evaluation visit led by the Council of Europe in February. It was also a chance to create various thematic working groups, which form part of the rollout of the national strategy action plan.
