Tourist and Convention Authority on promotional tour in Japan

In June, a delegation from the Tourist and Convention Authority (DTC), together with representatives from the Fairmont Monte-Carlo and the Société des Bains de Mer (SBM), visited Osaka and Tokyo in Japan for a promotional tour organised by the Authority’s representative office in the country.

The Monegasque delegation led by Ms Corinne Kiabski, the DTC’s Communication Director, and Ms Charlotte Valli, Manager for the Japan Market in the Marketing and Leisure Sales Department, was accompanied by Mr Koji Ito from the Fairmont Monte-Carlo and Hirokazu Ito for SBM.

The tour, organised by Ms Noriko Sylvester and her team, included several events for journalists and premium travel agencies.

The theme was “Green Is the New Glam”, providing an opportunity to highlight for the Japanese audience all of the public and private environmental initiatives in the Principality, and to present Monaco as an innovative destination while emphasising its expertise in fine dining and luxury accommodation.
