The Attractiveness Department travels to Stockholm
As part of the implementation of the Prince’s Government’s attractiveness plan, the Attractiveness Department travelled to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, for two days of discussion co-organised by the Monaco Consulate in Sweden.
During this visit, the Monegasque delegation, led by Mr Frédéric Genta, Interministerial Delegate for Attractiveness and the Digital Transition, attended a dinner with Mr Jan E. Frydman, Consul of Monaco to Sweden, and a group of Swedish investors and entrepreneurs. The occasion provided an opportunity for the Attractiveness Department to host all these guests within the ‘Monaco Private Label’ community.
Mr Frédéric Genta also met Mr Johan Forssell, Minister for International Cooperation Development and Foreign Trade. Conversation ranged over the respective attractiveness policies of the two countries and the digital ambitions of Sweden and the Principality. Lastly, the Interministerial Delegate had an opportunity to talk to representatives of the principal investment funds and technological companies in Sweden.
The Principality of Monaco and Sweden will meet again next year to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Monaco Consulate in Stockholm.
