Work on the Nice – Ventimiglia rail link - Trains will run for Thursday’s match in the Principality
A new meeting was held, attended by Céline Caron-Dagioni, Minister of Public Works, the Environment and Urban Development of Monaco; Jean-Pierre Serrus, First Vice-President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region for transportation and sustainable mobility; and representatives from SNCF Réseau.

The meeting continued discussions regarding the works plan proposed by SNCF Réseau and what it entails for commuters and travel to and from sporting events such as football matches.
The meeting ended with the decision by stakeholders to interrupt work scheduled for 19 September in order to ensure rail traffic for the Champions League match between AS Monaco and FC Barcelona in the Principality.
A new working meeting will take place on Friday afternoon to examine the alternative works plans that SNCF Réseau has promised it will submit to the Principality and the Region.
