On Friday 6 April, the Embassy of Monaco in Italy celebrated the International Day of Sport for Peace, in Rome, at the headquarters of the Italian Paralympic Committee (IPC), with the Medallists of the 2018 Pyeongchang Paralympic Winter Games.  The event took place in the presence of the President of the Committee, Luca Pancalli and Tiziana Nasi, President of the Italian Paralympic Winter Sports Federation (FISIP).

At this event, Paralympic Champions Giacomo Bertagnolli and his partner Fabrizio Casal (4 medals:  gold in slalom and giant slalom, silver in super giant and bronze in downhill), and Manuel Pozzerle (silver medal in snowboard cross), posed with a white card alongside Martine Garcia-Mascarenhas, Second Secretary at the Embassy of Monaco in Italy, in support of Peace and Sport's viral campaign #WhiteCard 2018, to celebrate this international day, thus demonstrating their commitment to world peace.
