Visit of a delegation from the Department of Justice that forms the basis of the Regional Intervention and Security Team (ERIS) of Aix-Luynes

As part of the implementation of the Protocol relating to exchanges and cooperation in prison matters agreed on 24 June 2021 between the Department of Justice of the Principality of Monaco and the Directorate of Prison Administration of the Ministry of Justice of the French Republic, at the invitation of Mr Thierry ALVES, Interregional Director of prison services in Marseille, a delegation from the Department of Justice was received on Thursday 23 November 2023 at the headquarters of the Regional Intervention and Security Team (ERIS) of Aix-Luynes. The delegation was led by Mrs Sylvie PETIT-LECLAIR, Secretary of Justice, Director of Services, and she was accompanied by her adviser, Mr Richard DUBANT, Mr Olivier RICHAUD, Director of Monaco Prison, Mrs Cécile CRESTO-PIZIO, Assistant Director, Mr Richard LEMAIRE, Chief Custody Officer and Mr Christophe NADAL, Head of Training.

The Monegasque delegation attended a demonstration of the ERIS technical and operational panel and had the opportunity to discuss intervention practices in a confined setting and the risks presented by the use of drones.
