Visit from Mr Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation
On Friday 7 February, Ms Isabelle Berro-Amadeï, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and acting Minister of State, received Mr Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the Council of Ministers and Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, for a working lunch.
The two ministers welcomed the excellent bilateral relations between Italy and the Principality of Monaco.
They highlighted the size and dynamism of the Italian community in Monaco, as well as the upcoming third session of the Italy-Monaco Administrative Cooperation Commission, to be held in the Principality. They also discussed cultural initiatives organised by the Italian Embassy in Monaco and the strengthening of coordinated efforts to teach and promote the Italian language.
This discussion preceded a meeting of the French-Italian Border Cooperation Committee, held the same day in the afternoon in Nice, at which Ms Berro-Amadeï represented the Principality as an observer state.
