A Charity Dinner at Monaco’s Vocational and Catering School (Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monaco) for "The Rights of the Child"

As part of an educational project, students of the hotel and service industry courses at Monaco’s Vocational and Catering School (Lycée Technique et Hôtelier de Monaco) are holding a charity dinner on Friday 4 February 2022, in aid of the Rights of the Child.

The United Nations, by signing an international convention on 20 November 1989, acknowledged the need to protect all children in the world and ensure their basic rights, wherever they are under threat.  The Principality of Monaco, through the Department of Education, Youth and Sport, is resolutely committed to defending these rights, which are so often contravened.

In support of this cause, the first and final Year Professional Hotel Baccalaureate classes and the First Year AGOrA (Assistance in the Management of Organisations and their Activities) students are organising a charity dinner.*

This evening event is sponsored by Joël Garault, President of "Monaco Goût et Saveurs" and former Michelin-starred chef of the Hôtel Hermitage.  This great chef will work alongside the students to offer a gastronomic menu.

The money raised at this event will be donated to humanitarian associations working in the field to defend children's rights, to help them undertake their aid and solidarity missions.  It will also be used to help pupils and young students living in the Principality and in neighbouring towns who are in a precarious situation.

* Friday 4 February at 7.15 p.m.  75€, to include wine and hot drinks.

Booking essential with Monaco’s Vocational and Catering School by e-mail at:

resa-cordon-dor@gouv.mc or by telephone on (+377) 98 98 89 29.
