The accidental death of Palace Guard Sylvain Panizzi

It is with great sadness that the Palace Guards announce the accidental death of Palace Guard Sylvain Panizzi on 9 July 2023 at the age of 32.

He had been a member of the Palace Guards for 8 years, was single and a keen sportsman, and lost his life whilst skydiving at Saint-Amadou (09) during his holiday.

The Government of Monaco shares in the grief of the family and the Palace Guards and sends their most sincere condolences.
