The Prince’s Government signs a Declaration of Mutual Cooperation with the Hospitality Committee
As part of the ‘Monaco, a Safe City’ plan, initiated in 2018, the Police Department is continuing to develop partnerships with the Monegasque private sector, in particular by creating Committees of the professions.
By this means, it was hoped that the hospitality sector, which in the Principality includes almost 2,500 employees, 80 establishments and thousands of customers every day, would adopt good practice in terms of safety and security.
To this end, Mr Patrice CELLARIO, Minister of Interior, and Mrs Alberte ESCANDE, President of the Board of the Hospitality Committee, signed a Declaration of Mutual Cooperation on 12 October, with a view to improving safety and security in the hospitality sector of Monaco and therefore fully engaging this profession in the prevention policy set up by the Police Department.
