The 56th International Bouquet Competition on the theme: "Flowers in Motion"
The Garden Club de Monaco, founded in 1968 by Princess Grace of Monaco, has unveiled the details of the 56th International Bouquet Competition, which is being held on 10 and 11 May 2025 at the Yacht Club de Monaco, but that's not all!
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II and presided over by H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover, the theme of this 56th edition is "Flowers in Motion".
The categories for this theme are all "free" and open to everybody; (amateurs or professionals, designers or teachers, with the exception of the "youth" category, which is reserved for children aged 6 to 14):
- Multicoloured fireworks: large
- A rose ball: table decoration
- Pastel whirlwinds: on a pedestal
- Monochrome swirls: alcove
- A gust of wind sweeping through the garden: alcove
- A wreath of flowers and leaves: wall decoration
- A medley of flowers, fruit and vegetables: "youth" category
Entries to the competition are open until 30 April 2025.

The "special panel" of judges presided over by H.R.H. The Princess of Hanover comprises leading figures from the world of arts and literature who will be awarding prizes.
The "official" panel, comprised of judges, teachers, international authors and floral art specialists, will award the Gold, Silver and Bronze Insignia and the General Grand Prize, in addition to the Princess Grace of Monaco Prize.
The Garden Club de Monaco Conferences, which are free and open to the public, will be held in the prestigious setting of the Y.C.M. on Sunday 11 May from 11am to 1pm, followed by a floral exhibition from 3pm to 4.30pm.
Admission is free and open to all. Visitors can browse the displays on Saturday, 10 May from 6pm to 7.30pm and Sunday, 11 May from 9.30am to 6pm.
For this 56th edition, the Garden Club de Monaco is introducing a new event to the programme: the "Monaco in Bloom" window display competition which will be brightening up shop windows throughout the Principality from 5 to 11 May!
