Mr Castellini takes part in high-level MONEYVAL meeting in Warsaw

On 25 April 2023, Mr Jean Castellini, the Minister of Finance and Economy, took part in a high-level meeting organised in Warsaw by the Polish Ministry of Finance and the Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on the Evaluation of Anti-Money Laundering Measures and the Financing of Terrorism (MONEYVAL).

The meeting brought together ministers from the 35 MONEYVAL member countries and territories with responsibility for money laundering policies to discuss the future priorities and strategic direction of MONEYVAL.

Following their discussions, the ministers adopted a political declaration and approved the strategy on action against money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction for the period 2023–2027.

The Principality of Monaco reaffirmed its full involvement in action against money laundering, terrorist financing and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and its commitment to complying with leading international standards.
