Monapass adds cultural and leisure services

Monapass - 3 nouveau services

In May 2021, the Prince’s Government launched the mobile app Monapass, developed in partnership with the Monegasque Bus Company (CAM) and Monaco City Hall, as part of its Extended Monaco programme.

In 18 months, Monapass has been downloaded nearly 24,000 times, and has been used to purchase 68,000 tickets and subscriptions. The app won the Principality the Digital Mobility Prize at the 30^th Ville, Rail & Transports (VRT) Awards.

Building on this success with local users, commuters and tourists, the all-in-one app, then focused on mobility, has now been expanded to integrate new services from the Monaco Oceanographic Museum, the Cinéma des Beaux-Arts in Monaco and Monaco Le Grand Tour (a double-decker bus).

Offering the true key to a better experience in the city, Monapass allows users to:

• Purchase tickets and subscriptions:

-          For transport – Monabike electric bikes, street parking;

-          For cultural and leisure activities – Monaco Oceanographic Museum, Cinéma des Beaux-Arts and Monaco Le Grand Tour.

Tickets are available at any time and are purchased entirely online, so you can avoid queues.

• Access, in real time:

-          Local transport information: times of the next buses, availability of Monabike bikes and electric charging points, the nearest parking spaces and parking ticket machines;

-          Practical information about cultural and leisure venues that have partnered with the app; it is also possible to book tickets for the Cinéma des Beaux-Arts in Monaco.

•             Take advantage of a digital wallet where they can keep all of their tickets and subscriptions, even those purchased outside the app or for activities outside the Principality.
