Longer vehicle immobilisation for Highway Code violations during Top Marques show in Monaco

©Direction de la Communication

The Prince’s Government would like to draw attention to the fact that certain particularly attractive events can draw large numbers of vehicles that are likely to cause a significant disruption to public order.

These often unplanned gatherings of sports cars lead to road traffic offences and to inappropriate and dangerous behaviour.

The Prince’s Government is determined to curb these phenomena as far as possible, and to take more effective action against those responsible for occasional disruption, in order to ensure peace and public safety for residents of the Principality.

In line with the measures taken for previous editions, the immobilisation period for offending vehicles will be increased during the 2023 Top Marques show (from 7 to 11 June 2023).

In the event of a violation of the Highway Code, immediate immobilisation of the vehicle will be extended to 120 hours.
