A full meeting of the Committee for Coordination and Monitoring of the National Strategy on Money Laundering, Financing of Terrorism and the Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, and Corruption was held on Thursday 11 May 2023.

The meeting was attended by all relevant government departments and representative bodies.

Among the many topics on the agenda, there was a comprehensive update on the work underway to strengthen measures to tackle financial crime, taking into consideration the recommendations from the MONEYVAL Report. Implementation of the national action plan was also discussed.

In accordance with its remit, the Committee plays a key role in determining the direction of policy and actions to be taken in this area.

H.E. Pierre Dartout, the Minister of State, reiterated that tackling money laundering and terrorist financing was a priority for the Principality of Monaco, and that every effort was being made to achieve the highest international standards.
