France’s Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) awards the CHPG “High Quality Care” certification with a maximum score of 100%

Mr Christophe Robino, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, welcomed the decision, noting that “this 100% certification for the CHPG, complete with “High Quality Care” designation, is a testament to the outstanding dedication of the hospital’s staff and Monaco’s steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centred healthcare.”

It represents the highest level of certification awarded by the HAS, the French health authority.

The outstanding results are all the more remarkable given that the CHPG achieved the highest possible score of 100% in each of the three main areas assessed by the certification framework: patient care, healthcare teams, and the institution itself.

The CHPG received the highest level of recognition awarded by the HAS to any public or private healthcare institution.

The decision, announced on 16 July, follows an inspection that took place between 24 and 28 March this year and acknowledges the high quality and safety of the treatment provided at the Monegasque hospital, along with the “commitment shown by the CHPG and its staff to delivering continuous improvement in care quality and safety”.

France’s Haute Autorité de Santé congratulated the CHPG on “these excellent results, made possible by the shared commitment of the hospital community as a whole. ”

Certification founded on everyday clinical practice
The Haute Autorité de Santé awards certification to public and private healthcare institutions on the basis of an independent evaluation process carried out by specially selected healthcare professionals known as “visiting experts”.

On 24 March, the CHPG hosted eight experts, who spent a week conducting no fewer than 76 separate assessments across all of the hospital’s departments, ranging from audits to interviews with staff and patients.

Although mandatory for all French public and private healthcare institutions, HAS certification is not a requirement in the Principality. The CHPG has participated in the scheme voluntarily since 2007, consistently achieving excellent results, including this year’s outstanding distinction.

Remarkable scores are the mark of high quality, safe care
The CHPG is proud of the results achieved by its dedicated teams, who work tirelessly each day to deliver the compassionate, high-quality care that has become the hospital’s hallmark.

The certification process reflects CHPG’s broader commitment to continually enhancing the quality and safety of care while ensuring the best possible patient experience.
