First Monaco Safe Passes issued today

©Direction de la Communication - Michael Alesi

As announced by Minister of State Pierre Dartout, the first health passes were issued today.

The passes use a QR code to indicate whether the holder has been fully vaccinated (i.e. the vaccination cycle is complete) or has recovered from COVID-19 at least two weeks but not more than six months ago, or if they have received a negative PCR test result within the last 48 hours.

The health authorities will issue health passes to those who have already been fully vaccinated and have applied via the website www.covid19.mc in two stages.

In an initial email, individuals will receive a first QR code relating to their first vaccination. A second email sent a few hours later will contain a QR code confirming the second vaccination. When checked, this will be displayed in green.

The Prince’s Government is issuing these two vaccination certificates because some countries outside the European Union may require both proofs of vaccination for entry to their territories.

In Monaco and Europe, only the QR code for the second vaccination is required.
