Didier Gamerdinger Receives the Director General of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Health Authority
On Thursday 12 September 2019, at the Ministry of State, Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs, received Philippe De Mester, Director General of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Regional Health Authority (ARS PACA), accompanied by Ahmed El Bahri, Director of Healthcare Organisation at the ARS PACA, and Romain Alexandre, the ARS PACA's new Departmental Delegate for the Alpes-Maritimes, for a working meeting.
Several topics were addressed and gave rise to constructive discussions:
- a proposal by the Principality to host medical interns within its hospital services;
- a joint project to create a paediatric psychiatry day centre for children and teenagers in Monaco and the surrounding municipalities;
- organisational procedures for haemovigilance and transfusion safety;
- digital health projects;
- granting the Health Professional Card to pharmacists and doctors in the Principality.
This fruitful meeting was an opportunity to strengthen the excellent relations that exist between the Department of Health and Social Affairs and the health authorities of the neighbouring region.
